Shravan Shanivar (Saturdays in Shravan Month) are also auspicious for Shravan Maas vrat & pujas. Sawan Shaniwar is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, Shani Bhagavan and Lord Balaji (Venkateshwara Swamy). In 2021, Shravan Shanivar dates are: August 14, August 21, August 28 and September 4 as per Amavasyant Panchanga.

As per North Indian Hindi calendars, Shravan Shanivar 2021 dates are – July 24, July 31, August 7, August 14 and August 21.

In Maharashtra & some places of Gujarat, Shravan Shanivar is dedicated for Ashwattha Maruthi Pujan. Ashwattha Vriksha and Lord Hanuman are worshipped and offered special naivedya.

Shani Puja is observed on Sawan Shanivar. Those who are suffering from Shani Dosha would perform Shani Shanti Pujan to pacify Shani’s effect. In Shani Shingnapur temple Abhishek and other special pujas are observed.

Lord Balaji (Venkateshwara Swamy) is worshipped on Saturdays in Sawan Maas. Venkateshwara Swamy Vratham is the main ritual of the day.

As per North Indian Hindi calendars, Shravan Shanivar 2020 dates are – July 11, July 18, July 25 and August 1. In 2020, Shravan Shanivar dates are: July 25, August 1, August 8 and August 15 as per Amavasyant Panchanga.
