Shani Trayodashi, 28 May 2022.. Shani Trayodashi is observed two times in May 2022. Shani Trayodashi is an auspicious day dedicated to Lord Shani (Shanishwara Bhagavan).
As per the Shastras, it is believed that worshipping shani may minimise the impact or effect of shani dosham (defects in ones birth chart or the bad deeds done by the native during the previous birth) on their life.
Devotees and believers of Shani dosham perform Shani dosha puja to please Shani and to bless them with reduced or minimised effects of Shani dosha. Some people observe fast on the day of Shani puja.
Pradosh Puja time is 4.30 to 6’0 clock in the evening. Pradosastakam is an auspicious prayer chanted during Pradosh Shiv Pujan.
