There are series of religious event which are to take place in the month of August 2026 in the famous ancient temple of Lord Sri Govinda Raja Swamy, which happens to be one of the most important sub-shrines under the umbrella of TTD in Tirupati.
Several special religious festivals will be observed at the Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Tirupati, during the month of August.
The schedule is as follows:
August 5–14: Andal Tiruvadipuram Utsavam.
August 12: Tirunakshatram of Chakrathalwar and Sri Prativadi Bhayankaram Annan.
August 16: On the occasion of Uttara Nakshatram, Sri Govindaraja Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi will be taken in a procession through the four Mada Streets.
August 21: Varalakshmi Vratam.
August 21 (6 pm): Procession of Sri Andal Ammavaru through the four Mada Streets.
August 26 (6 pm): On the occasion of Sravana Nakshatram, Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy with Sridevi and Bhudevi will bless devotees in a procession through the four Mada Streets.
August 28: On the occasion of Sravana Upakarma, Sri Govindaraja Swamy and Sri Krishna Swamy will be taken in a procession to Alwar Theertham at Kapila Theertham in the morning for Snapana Tirumanjanam and Asthanam. In the evening, Sri Govindaraja Swamy with Sridevi and Bhudevi will participate in Asthanam at the Sri Vaikhanasacharya Temple in R.S. Mada Street.

ఆగస్టు నెలలో తిరుపతి శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో విశేష ఉత్సవాలు
తిరుపతి శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో ఆగస్టు నెలలో పలు విశేష ఉత్సవాలు జరుగనున్నాయి. వాటి వివరాలు ఇలా ఉన్నాయి.
– ఆగస్టు 5 నుండి 14వ తేదీ వరకు ఆండాళ్ తిరువాడిపురం ఉత్సవం
– ఆగస్టు 12న చక్రతాళ్వార్, శ్రీ ప్రతివాది భయంకరన్ అన్నన్ తిరునక్షత్రం
– ఆగష్టు 16న ఉత్తర నక్షత్రం సందర్భంగా శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామి వారు మాడ వీధులలో విహరిస్తారు.
– ఆగస్టు 21వ తేదీ వరలక్ష్మీ వ్రతం.
– ఆగస్టు 21వ తేదీ శుక్రవారం సాయంత్రం 6 గంటలకు శ్రీ ఆండాళ్ అమ్మవారిని ఆలయ నాలుగు మాడ వీధుల్లో ఊరేగింపు నిర్వహిస్తారు.
– ఆగష్టు 26న శ్రవణ నక్షత్రాన్ని పురస్కరించుకుని సాయంత్రం 6 గంటలకు శ్రీభూ సమేత శ్రీ కల్యాణ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారు ఆలయ నాలుగు మాడ వీధుల్లో విహరించి భక్తులను అనుగ్రహిస్తారు.
– ఆగస్టు 28న శ్రావణ ఉపకర్మ సందర్భంగా ఉదయం శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామివారు, శ్రీ కృష్ణ స్వామివారిని కపిలతీర్ధంలోని ఆళ్వార్తీర్ధంకు ఊరేగింపుగా తీసుకువెళ్ళి, స్నపన తిరుమంజనం, ఆస్థానం నిర్వహిస్తారు. అనంతరం సాయంత్రం శ్రీ భూ సమేత గోవిందరాజస్వామివారు ఆర్.ఎస్. మాడ వీధిలోని శ్రీ వైఖానసాచార్యులు ఆలయంలో ఆస్థానం నిర్వహిస్తారు.
