There are series of religious event which are to take place in the month of August 2025 in the famous ancient temple of Lord Sri Govinda Raja Swamy, which happens to be one of the most important sub-shrines under the umbrella of TTD in Tirupati.
A series of special religious events and processions are lined up at Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple in Tirupati during the month of August 2025.
August 1 – On the occasion of Swathi Nakshatram, Sri Govindaraja Swamy will be taken in a procession to Ahobila Mutt
August 6 – On the occasion of Tulasi Mahatyam, Sri Govindaraja Swamy will appear on Garuda Vahanam to bless the devotees in the morning.
August 8 – Varalakshmi Vratam will be observed with special rituals.
August 8, 15, 22, and 29 – On these Fridays, Sri Andal Ammavaru will be taken in a procession through the four Mada Streets at 6:00 PM.
August 9 – On the day of Shravana Upakarma, Sri Govindaraja Swamy and Sri Krishna Swamy will be taken to Alwar Theertham in Kapila Theertham for Snapanam Tirumanjanam and Asthanam.
In the evening, Sri Govindaraja Swamy with Bhoodevi will visit Sri Vaikhanasacharyula Temple in R.S. Mada Street for Asthanam.
August 16 – On the occasion of Gokulashtami, Sri Krishna Swamy will be given Abhishekam, followed by Purana Pravachanam
August 17 – On Rohini Nakshatram, Sri Parthasarathi Swamy along with Rukmini and Satyabhama will be taken in a grand procession through the Mada Streets at 6PM.
August 20: Utlotsavam
August 25 – On Uttara Nakshatram, Sri Govindaraja Swamy with Sridevi and Bhoodevi will be taken on a procession through the Mada Streets.

ఆగస్టు నెలలో తిరుపతి శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో విశేష ఉత్సవాలు
– ఆగస్టు 1న స్వాతి నక్షత్రంను పురస్కరించుకుని శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామివారు అహోబిలం మఠానికి ఊరేగింపుగా తీసుకువచ్చి ఆస్థానం నిర్వహిస్తారు. అనంతరం స్వామివారు ఆలయ నాలుగు మాడ వీధులలో భక్తులకు దర్శనం ఇవ్వనున్నారు.
– ఆగస్టు 6న తులసీ మహత్యం ఉత్సవం సందర్భంగా ఉదయం శ్రీ గోవిందరాజ స్వామివారు గరుడ వాహనంపై భక్తులను కటాక్షించనున్నారు.
– ఆగస్టు 8వ తేదీ వరలక్ష్మీ వ్రతం.
– ఆగస్టు 08, 15, 22, 29 తేదీల్లో శుక్రవారాల్లో సాయంత్రం 6 గంటలకు శ్రీ ఆండాళ్ అమ్మవారిని ఆలయ నాలుగు మాడ వీధుల్లో ఊరేగింపు నిర్వహిస్తారు.
– ఆగస్టు 9న శ్రావణ ఉపకర్మ సందర్భంగా ఉదయం శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామివారు, శ్రీ కృష్ణ స్వామివారిని కపిలతీర్ధంలోని ఆళ్వార్తీర్ధంకు ఊరేగింపుగా తీసుకువెళ్ళి, స్నపన తిరుమంజనం, ఆస్థానం నిర్వహిస్తారు. అనంతరం సాయంత్రం శ్రీ భూ సమేత గోవిందరాజస్వామివారు ఆర్.ఎస్. మాడ వీధిలోని శ్రీ వైఖానసాచార్యులు ఆలయంలో ఆస్థానం నిర్వహిస్తారు.
– ఆగస్టు 16న గోకులాష్టమి సందర్భంగా సాయంత్రం శ్రీ కృష్ణ స్వామివారికి అభిషేకం, అనంతరం బంగారు వాకిలి చెంత పురాణ ప్రవచనం, గోకులాష్టమి ఆస్థానం నిర్వహిస్తారు.
– ఆగస్టు 17న రోహిణి నక్షత్రం సందర్భంగా సాయంత్రం 6 గంటలకు రుక్మిణి, సత్యభామ సమేత శ్రీపార్థసారధిస్వామివారు మాడ వీధుల్లో ఊరేగి భక్తులను కటాక్షిస్తారు.
– ఆగస్టు 19న చిన్న వీధి ఉట్లోత్సవం, ఆగస్టు 20న పెద్ద వీధి ఉట్లోత్సవం నిర్వహించనున్నారు.
– ఆగష్టు 25న ఉత్తర నక్షత్రం సందర్భంగా శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామి వారు మాడ వీధులలో విహరిస్తారు.
