Sankat Chaturthi December 2011 – Sankashta Hara Vinayaka Chavithi

Sankat Chaturthi, also known as Sankashti Chaturthi or Sankashta Hara Vinayaka Chaturthi, is observed on the fourth day during the second half in every month as per Hindu panchang. In December 2011, Sankat Chathruthi date is 14 December 2011. As per North Indian calendar, this Sankashta hara Chaturthi falls in Paush month.     i am from nepal and i too tke fast on chaturthi. but the calender of my country shows the chaturthi falling on day before or after from yr indian calender,why is that…and which should i follow? since i m in australia
