Rig Shravani is observed on Shravana Nakshatra day in Shravan Month. And it mostly falls on Shravan Purnima or a day before or after Shravan Purnima.
On the Hasta Nakshatra in Shravan month, Rig Hiranyakesi Sravani ritual is observed. The other Shravani ritual is Rig Shukla Yajur Taittariya Shravani. It is observed on Shravan Purnima, Rakshabandhan festival.
