Rashi Pooja is a special pooja performed in Kateel Durga Parameshwari Temple. It is offered to Nava Grihas (nine planets) morning on the day of Meena Sankramana and afternoon a Bali pooja will be performed for an idol of Bali placed in middle of a big heap of rice. Rashi means heap so that pooja is called as Rashi Pooja.
