With much pious celebrations, including music and jigs, the Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi began its 18-day journey from Dehu to Pandharpur on Wednesday as scores of warkaris joined the procession.
Since the procession of Sant Tukaram has already started from Dehu, Pune is getting ready for Tukaram Palkhi Sohala on 25, 26, 27 June 2019. Sant Dnyaneshwar Palkhi has began its journey on 25 June and will reach Pune on 26th.
Meanwhile, preparations for the palkhi’s arrival in the city are on in full swing at the Nivdunga Vithoba Mandir and Palkhi Vithoba Mandir at Bhavani Peth, where the palkhis of Sant Tukaram Maharaj and Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj will reach.
