Mantralayam Prasadam – Parimala Prasada

The great Madhwa saint and the universal Guru is Sri Raghavendra Swamigal, and his Jeeva Samidhi shrine is situated in Mantralayam at Andhra Pradesh. He has spread the philosophies of his Guru Sri Madhwacharya, and proved that Lord Hari is the divine saviour of all the living beings in the entire universe.

In his Mantralayam Temple, the famous Prasad also known as Parimala Prasada is available in the form of packets and it would be offered as Neivedyam to Guru Raghavendra, and then it would be sold in the Parimala Prasada sales counters at an affordable price. Those who visit Mantralayam Temple would never forget to purchase Parimala Prasada packets, in order to take it to their homes for their consumption as well as to be distributed amongst their relatives/ neighbours and office staffs.

This Prasada is very famous similar to Tirupati laddu and Lord Ayyappa’s Aravana Payasam. This Prasad was named based on the holy work, Sudha Parimala written by the great Sri Raghavendra Swamigal.

The ingredients used for preparing Parimala Prasada are Rava, Sugar, Cashew nuts, Saffron and Ghee. We are getting the blessings of the god/guru only through our sincere faith on them. If we consume Parimala Prasada with sincere faith on the holy guru, Sri Raghavendra, we would be relieved from various ailments in our body, and we would get fresh energy.

As per the life history of Guru Raghavendra, many of his devotees were got relieved from their various problems with the Mritigai, sacred sand given by Guru Raghavendra, and it is still available in the Mantralayam Temple at a meager price. Similar to that, we can also consume Parimala Prasada in order to enjoy its good sweet taste, as well as for its great spiritual significance. This Prasad would also be available in various branches of Raghavendra Mutts, situated throughout India.
