Who Was He?
He was the adopted son (svikara puthra) and primary disciple of Sri Periyavachan Pillai, the legendary “Emperor of Commentators” (Vyakyana Chakravarthi).
He was raised in an environment saturated with deep scriptural learning, which allowed him to perfectly absorb and eventually expand upon his Acharya’s vast knowledge. As we discussed in your previous query, he shares his deeply auspicious Thirunakshatram (Aavani Rohini) with both his father and Lord Krishna.
