Navagraha Puja at Karmanghat Hanuman Temple, Hyderabad

Navagraha Puja | Sampoorna Navagraha Puja is one of the most observed puja service conducted at Karmanghat Hanuman Temple, Hyderabad. This temple has one of the ancient Navagraha temples in the premises.

Bhagawan Surya (Ravi, Sun), Chandra (Moon), Kuja (Mars, Mangal), Budha (Mercury), Guru (Brihaspati, Jupiter), Shukra (Venus), Shani (Saturn), Rahu and Ketu are considered Navagraha, the Nine Divine Planets, in Hindu Dharma.

Shani Thailabhishekam, Navagraha Pooja, Kuja Dosha Nivarana Pooja, Guru Dosha Nivarana Pooja, etc. are the main sevas held in Navagraha Temples.

Navagrahas are the nine celestial demigods of the universe. Human life is based on the functioning of the Navagrahas, and it is based on the planetary positions of our horoscope, also known as birth chart. If the planetary positions are favorable as per our horoscope, our life would become easier, or if it is unfavorable, our life would become difficult.

Navagrahas occupies an important place in our daily life, and they would give goodness or badness based on their ruling as per our horoscope. Though there is no need to get afraid of the Navagrahas, but we must necessarily know about their importance, and worship them regularly.

Karmanghat Hanuman Temple is a famous Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Hyderabad. It is one of the oldest temples in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, Telangana.

The origin and the history of Karmanghat Hanuman Temple dates back to the 12th century. This temple was built by the Kakatiya king Prataparudra II in 1143 AD.

The important festivals that are celebrated in Karmanghat Temple are – Ugadi (Telugu New Year day), Hanuman Jayanti (Chaitra Pournami), Sri Rama Navami, Hanuman Jayanti (Vaishakha Masam), Shravana Masam, Vinayaka Chavithi (Ganesh Chaturthi), Devi Navaratri, Deepavali, Karthika Masam, Maha Shivaratri, etc..
