17 May 2022 is Narada Jayanti. Narad Jayanti or the birth anniversary of Sage Narada is celebrated in Jyeshta Maas. It marks the beginning of Jyeshta month in North Indian Hindi calendars as it is observed on Krishna Paksha Pratipada.
Narada Muni is one of the popular Sages in Hindu religious history. Probably he is the only Saint who was mentioned in almost all Puranas.
Narada’s literature work ‘Pancharatra’ is a standard text for deity worship in Vaishnavism.
