On the eve of Makara Sankranti, the famous sand sculptor Tarani Prasad Mishra designed a sand sculpture on 13th January 2019. And Sankranti 2019 date is January 15.
Tarani drawn about the rituals and celebrations of Bhogi, Sankranti and Kanuma in a tremendous symbolic way. It is made at Vamsadhara river beach near L N Pet, Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh.

On Sankranti Panduga Eve, I’ve made this Sand Sculpture at Vamsadhara river Beach, in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, India. The Sand Art is about 5ft in height and 15ft wide. It was completed by using just only two ton of sand. About 12 hours worked to complete the Sand Sculpture.
