Lakshmibai, the great Rani of Jhansi (19th century AD) was the queen of Jhansi and the consort of King Gangadhar. She bravely fought against the British Government, without getting worried about her own life.

Rani Lakshmibai was well trained in all kinds of arts during her young age itself, and that’s why she was able to boldly fight with the British government. She was well trained in horse riding and she was also familiar in making her horse to run at a highest speed during the times of emergency situations. She is still remembered by the Indian people for her selfless nature and for her great contribution in the Indian Independence. She must be considered to be the daughter of Bharat Mata, since she showered her great love to our Indian Nation and to the Indian people.Her beautiful palace has now been converted into a museum, which contains lot of things used by her during her period.

The great Rani used to do lot of physical exercises during the morning hours, in order to maintain proper physique.She used to wear simple clothes, and lived like a noble woman.
