Pavitrotsavams in Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple of Tirupati is one of the most celebrated festivals at the temple. In 2022, Pavitrotsavams in Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple begins on 23 July and ends on 26 July. It is held for four days in Ashada Masam as per Telugu Panchangam.
On the day of Pavitra Samarpana, the utsava idols of Sri Sitarama and Lakshmana are brought to yagashala where the rituals of Of snapana thirumanjanam are performed and Pavitras submitted to all deities and other holy places like Homa Kundam, dwajastambham etc. Later in the evening after thiru Veedi utsavam sattumora and other rituals are performed to utsava idols.

తిరుపతి శ్రీ కోదండరామస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో July 23 నుండి 26వ తేదీ వ‌ర‌కు పవిత్రోత్సవాలు శాస్త్రోక్తంగా జరుగనున్నాయి. ఇందుకోసం July 23వ తేదీ సాయంత్రం సేనాధిప‌తి ఉత్స‌వం, మేదినీ పూజ, మృత్సంగ్ర‌హ‌ణం, అంకురార్ప‌ణం నిర్వ‌హించ‌నున్నారు.
ఇందులో భాగంగా July 24 మొదటిరోజు యాగశాలలో పవిత్ర ప్రతిష్ఠ, శయనాధివాసం, July 25న రెండో రోజు పవిత్ర సమర్పణ, యాగశాలలో వైదిక కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహిస్తారు. July 26న మూడో రోజు యాగశాలలో వైదిక కార్యక్రమాలు, పూర్ణాహుతితో పవిత్రోత్సవాలు ముగియనున్నాయి. ఈ మూడు రోజుల పాటు ఉద‌యం 11 నుండి మ‌ధ్యాహ్నం 12.30 గంట‌ల వ‌ర‌కు శ్రీ సీతారామ సమేత లక్ష్మణస్వామివారి ఉత్సవమూర్తులకు ఏకాంతంగా స్నపనతిరుమంజనం జ‌రుగ‌నుంది. సాయంత్రం ఆలయంలో ఊరేగింపు నిర్వహిస్తారు.
ఏడాది పొడవునా ఆలయంలో జరిగే అర్చనలు, ఉత్సవాల్లో తెలియక కొన్ని దోషాలు జరుగుతుంటాయి. వీటివల్ల ఆలయ పవిత్రతకు ఎలాంటి లోపం రానీయకుండా మూడు రోజుల పాటు పవిత్రోత్సవాలు నిర్వహిస్తారు.
