Khairatabad Ganesh 2024 | 70-feet Mammoth Ganapathi idol for Ganesh Chaturthi 2024…. Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Samithi is all set to do Prana Pratishta Puja of 70-feet Ganesha idol for this Ganesh Chaturthi Utsavams, which begins on 7 September 2024, Saturday. Ganesh Chaturthi Utsavams, referred to as Vinayaka Chavithi Navaratri celebrations, begins on 7 September and ends on September 17 with Ganapati Nimajjanam. This is the 70th year of Ganesh Chaturthi Utsavams of Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Samithi.
The idol of Ganesh is all set to be unveiled on Ganesh Chaturthi is of 70-feet height. And the Ganesh idol will be made in “Sri Saptamukha Maha Shakti Ganapathi” avataram this year. The statue is made of using clay, iron, and other suitable material.
The idol of Sri Saptamukha Maha Shakti Ganapathi is portrayed in the middle. In the left side of the idol, Sri Shiva Parvati Kalyanam theme is being built and in the right side of the main idol, Srinivasa Kalyanam is portrayed. In main idol sannidhanam, 10-feet Ayodhya Sri Rama idol is installed in the right side and Rahu Ketu idols are built in the left side.
About Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Samithi
Late Mr. S. Sankarayya freedom fighter, in 1954 founded Sri Ganesh Utsav Committee, Khairatabad, Hyderabad. Since then every year it developed with the constant effort of Mr. S. Sankarayya’s family and friends and committee members.
The Ganesh to be 70 Seventy-Feet Tall this year. Mr. S. Sankarayya’s brother Mr. S. Sudershan continuing the tradition of Ganesh Pooja in Khairatabad, Hyderabad, with the help of Mr. Sandeep Raj and his son S. Rajkumar successfully, since 70th years. Every year lakhs of devotees visit daily this 11 days event of Ganesh Utsav. On 11th day this huge Ganesh idol, with the help of large cranes will be immersed in Hussain Sagar lake, after long procession.
This year 2024, Ganesh Ustav starts on 07-09-2024 to 17-09-2024.
