Kartik Mahina 2013 begins in North Indian Hindi Calendar

Kartik Mahina or Kartik month in 2013 begins on October 19, 2013, Saturday in North India as per traditional Hindi calendar followed in Uttranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, etc.

Devotees observe Kartik Maas vrat during the month of Kartik. Single meal, celibacy, and Vishnu Puja (Lakshmi Narayan Puja), Shiva Puja are the main rituals of Kartik Maas vrat.
