Jwalamukhi Temple, located in Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh, is one of the powerful Shakti Peetha temples in India. Chaitra Navratri or Vasant Navratri is the popular festival held at the temple in March-April.
In 2026, Sharad Navratri Jwalamukhi Mela begins on October 11 and ends on October 20. Jwalamukhi Navratri Mela 2026 starts on March 19 and ends on March 27. The festival is held for 10 days with utmost gusto.
There is no idol in Jwalamukhi temple. Nine flames are worshipped as the idol hence the Mother Goddess is known as Jwalamukhi here.
