In Hinduism, it is to be highly noted that Lord Shiva has many titles and several names that is locally and regionally famous among the devotees and pilgrims across the nation and abroad. As per the Vedas, Lord Shiva is known generally as Rudra “the Terrible One”or “the Howler (Roarer)”. On the other hand, Lord Shiva is also largely associated with procreation. Lord Shiva’s personal vehicle is Nandi, a milk-white bull who regarded as the guardian of four-legged creatures.It is to be remembered that Lord Shiva sometimes has four faces and arms plus 3 eyes. The eyes are represented as three horizontal lines on the forehead. Among the 3 eyes, one eye is placed as third in the center of his forehead which has the power to emit balls of destructive fir to destroy anything in the universe. Lord Shiva was a contemplative ascetic before marrying Goddess Parvati. She is Lord Shiva’s wife. They have two sons named Lord Murugan and Lord Ganesha. It is to be remembered that Lord Shiva perfectly sports snakes around his neck and wears animal skin.
