GSB Seva Mandal’s MahaGanapati is known as India’s Richest Lord Ganesha Idol at King’s Circle, Mumbai which is decorated with 69+ kgs of Gold Ornaments, 336+ kgs of Silver and other precious items which are usually donated by the Devotees / Sevedars said Shri. This year we at GSB Seva Mandal are celebrating 71st Year of Lord MahaGanapati’s arrival on the VIRAT DARSHAN DAY (The first look unveiling event) on 25th August 2025 and GANESHOTSAV beginning from 27 August 2025 till 31 August 2025.
SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS OF GSB SEVA MANDAL’S GANESHOTSAV:
- Every year, GSB Seva Mandal extend its hands towards the weaker section of society providing access to education for those who might otherwise be excluded, fostering individual growth and societal progress. We provide Education Aid to kids taking the benefit, said Shri. Amit D. Pai, Chairman of GSB Seva Mandal King’s Circle, Mumbai.
- We are the only Mandal in the city where the rituals (Pooja’s / Archana’s / Seva’s / Annadaan) are being performed round the clock according to Rigveda and our traditions at our pendol. On an average, 75,000+ Pooja’s / Seva’s are offered every year to Shree MahaGanapati by his Devotees / Sevedars – an offering to Shree MahaGanapati as he fulfills their wishes.
- Each day, 22,000+ devotees and 1,10,000+ devotees in 5 days take the benefit of Annadaan Seva, basically a traditional Bhojan Prasad offered to Shree MahaGanapati is served to devotees on Banana Leaf.
- We also take utmost care of the environmental balance, that our MahaGanapati’s idol is made up of a specific Natural Clay (Shaadu Maati), Grass and Naturally Extracted Water Colors which clearly means our MahaGanapati’s idol is ECO-FRIENDLY. As living in a world, which promotes eco-friendliness, printed bulletins are not considered ideal and there onwards we embarked on a mission to eliminate traditional paper receipts and went Digital to eradicate the wastage of paper and usage of plastic as printed receipts are not considered ideal. We use large LED Screens for Advertisements instead of plastic printed banners.
- This year onwards, we start with Self-Service KIOSK Units for booking Seva / Pooja will be installed near the main gate that helps devotees with hassle-free booking of their Seva / Pooja. As a part of sustainability, we ensured to GO GREEN for a sustainable ECO-FRIENDLY GANESHOTSAV with NET ZERO EMISSION. We brought-in a new era with the use of one of its kind features of latest QR Code Technology. It’s basically a SCAN & OFFER Seva / Pooja Feature. For General Darshan – मुख दर्शन, QR Code is not required – Direct walkover the Sky-walk open 24×7, said Shri. Shri. Amit D. Pai, Chairman of GSB Seva Mandal King’s Circle, Mumbai.
- A private agency helps us with security where 875 people work in 3 shifts. 100+ CCTVs, AI Powered Facial Recognition Cameras and Metal Detector Gates are installed, as we strive towards benefiting services to the devotees of Shree MahaGanapati.
- We have taken up with RECORD BREAKING GANESHOTSAV INSURANCE COVER of 2025 for whooping INR 474.46 Crores.
