We bring you a unique & one of its kind Navaratri Utsav where a single idol is graced in 10 SWAROOPS of DEVI – 10 different DAYS which is adorned with several kgs of Gold & Silver Ornaments which are donated by the devotees, that unveils its divine glory by each passing day which emanates profound positive energies & more divine blessings which is felt the moment you step in the pendol.
Each day of Navaratri presents an incarnation of a Devi (Goddess).
19th October 2023 | Day 5 – Annaporneshwari Devi
21st October 2023 | Day 7 – Chandika Devi
23rd October 2023 | Day 9 – Mahakaali Devi
SPECIAL & ONE OF ITS KIND ATTRACTION:
While all 9 Swaroops are eye catching & special attraction,
On 23rd Oct – the 9th day is Kaali Mata who looks simply mesmerizing that you are bound to be easily absorbed in her celestial beauty at the first look along with “Deepotsav” event, 06pm onwards, whereby, 10,000 oil lamps are lit (each devotee lighting at least one lamp), while all electric lights within the Pendol are switched off to offer the evening Aarti in the illuminance of these oil lamps. A breath-taking view which will be etched on your hearts forever.
INSURANCE:
This year, we have taken up with an Insurance Cover of whooping INR 30 Crores.
NOBLE CAUSE:
Also, G.S.B. Sabha Dahisar Borivali is a charitable institution, serving people at large for over 3 decades. Navaratri is yet another opportunity to accomplish the noble cause.
During Navaratri,
- We serve food to over 25,000 devotees on banana leaves during 10 days through “Annadaan Seva”.
- We arrange a free medical camp “Matruvatsalya” where devotees undergo numerous medical tests for FREE OF COST.
This year, the said camp is on 22nd October.
- Education Kits are distributed to over 1000 school students as blessings from Mata Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge & learning.
Additionally, during 9-days period, from morning till night, several devout services like conducting countless Religious & Traditional Sevas, Poojas, Havans etc. are carried out. This also includes traditional Tula Seva, where devotees can offer various items equal to their weight to the benevolent Goddess.
