The Alappuzha district administration has developed a website to let the pilgrims know about the facilities in Sabarimala Devaswom and at Chengannur for Sabarimala pilgrims. Devaswom Minister Kadannappalli Ramachandran will launch the website soon which has been dedicated to Sabarimala pilgrims of the country. This website will be available in Malayalam, English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
The website of Gateway of Sabarimala dot gov dot in shows the details of KSRTC bus timings to Sabarimala, Special trains, train timings, taxi rates, food rates, accommodation facilities, hospitals, police stations, major pilgrim centers around Chengannur and the distance of various places from Chengannur.
The website was developed by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) team using Free and Open Source Software (FOSS).
