Sri Emaneswaram Udayar temple is located in Emaneswaram, near Paramakudi in the district of Ramanathapuram, in the state of Tamil Nadu in South India. The main deity of this temple is Emaneswaram Udayar (Lord Shiva) and his consort is Swarna Gujambikai. The festival deity is Pradosha Nayanar.

The main festivals of this shrine are Margazhi Tiruvadhirai in December-January; 11 day Chithirai Tirunal festival in April-May, Navarathri in September-October; Aadi Perukku day in July-August, Skanda Sashti in October-November; on Pradosha days-13th day of new moon or full moon days, Aadi Pooram in July-Augus, Masi Magam and Maha Shivrathri in February-March, special pujas on new moon and full moon days, Panguni Uthiram in March-April; Bikshadanar festival on Bharani star day in Thai-January-February, Aadi-July-August, Mahalaya in Purattasi-September-October, New Moon Days in Thai-January-February, Karthikai Mondays in November-December, and Vinayaka Chaturthi.
During all auspicious days and the important religious days are marked with long hours in this shrine. On the day of Shivarathri with great dedication and devotion, Special puja and rituals are also marked.
The Temple is open for all from 6.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. and from 4.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. the main deities of this shrine are Navagraha, Bhairava without His dog vehicle, Lord Muruga with His consorts Valli and Deivanai and Lord Vinayaka.
