Gauri mata – Goddess Gowri
Chukkala Amavasya Pooja is auspicious Vratham observed on Ashada Amavasya, No Moon day in Ashada masam as per Telugu calendar followed in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In 2025, Chukkala Amavasya date is July 24.
This vrata is also observed in some places of Karnataka also. Ashada Amavasya vratham is dedicated to Goddess Gauri. Gauri Puja is performed on this day by married women for better health and longer life of their husbands.

On 24 July 2025, Varjyam time is till 6.50 AM. Rahukaalam is from 1.51 AM to 3.28 PM. Abhijit Muhurta is between 11:48 AM and 12:40 PM noon. Durmuhurtham time is from 10.04 AM to 10.56 AM and 3.15 PM to 4.07 PM.
Auspicious Time for Puja ====>>>> 7 AM to 10 AM. Considering the time duration needed for puja, its best to perform puja by 10 AM in the morning.
Auspicious Time for Amavasya Lakshmi Puja is – 7.00 PM to 8.00 PM.
