Lord Brahma is the creator god, and he is the father and mother of all the living beings in the world. He has created even the demigods like Yama, Varuna and Vayu, and he is doing his creation work for several millions of years. He is putting the fate on our heads, and he is the one, who can change our fate also. Similar to worshipping the other deities we have to worship him also along with his consort Ma Saraswati, the goddess of education.
Though he is having only a few temples in the world, even then, we can worship him in Shiva Temples, where his separate shrine would be found. We can also worship him in our homes, by placing his picture and Ma Saraswati, and perform puja to the divine parents, during Sundays, and on other holidays. He has created famous sages and divine personalities like Indra, Chandra and Surya and his mind born sons are Lord Daksha, Pulasthiya, Narada and SanguKarna. He contains great powers similar to Lord Shiva and Vishnu, and in ancient times, people used to sincerely worship him similar to Shiva and Vishnu.
In course of time, due to the popularity of Lord Vinayaka, Muruga, Shiva and Vishnu, his name and fame was declined, and people worshipped him very rarely. We should realize that Lord Brahma is watching our each and every activity through his spiritual powers, and if we simply ignore him, then he also would ignore us during our difficult times, and would not bend our fate.
He can be worshipped by chanting his mantra, “OM SRI BRAHMA DEVAYA NAMAHA”, and we can offer lotus flower to Brahma and Saraswati, and we can also offer sweet milk, milk mixed with sugar, as Prasad to our divine parents. If possible, we can visit his famous temple shrine at Pushkar in Rajasthan, by staying there at least for a week. Lot of hotels and lodging houses are available nearby the temple, and during our stay, we can enjoy our each and every moment by watching the divine beauty of our four headed father at the temple.
