Asha Dashami Vrat 2019

Asha Dashami Vrat is a vrat dedicated to Goddess Asha Devi (Parvati Devi). In 2019, Ashada Dashami Vrat date is August 9. It falls on Shravana Shukla Dashami, the tenth day of bright fortnight in Shravan Month.

‘Asha’ means desire. Those who perform this Vrata will be blessed by the Goddess to get their desires fulfilled. Mainly, the married women observe Asha Dashami vrata for a strong marital relationship with their husbands. Women also perform this vrata to get their children blessed with a healthy life ahead.

As per some sources, Asha Dashami vrata is also observed in Ashad Month.

Asha Dashami vrat, the story of this vrata is mentioned in the Mahabharata as a conversation between Lord Sri Krishna and King Arjuna.
