The love story of Arjuna and Subhadra,is very thrilling and exiting, since both of them expressed their sincere love on each other. During the exile period of the Pandavas, Arjuna visited many holy shrines, peaceful mountains and Holy Rivers. Once during his travels, he reached Prabhasa, which is considered to be the present day Gujarat City. After knowing about the beauty of Subhadra, the sister of Lord Krishna, Arjuna wanted to marry her, since apart from beauty, she also contains very good qualities, like patience, bravery, great skills in riding chariots at a fast speed, courage and wisdom.
Since Krishna didn’t like to perform marriage between Subhadra and Duryodhana, he had chosen Arjuna to be the best companion for her. Krishna made a clever plan, and he asked Subhadra to take care of Arjuna at her palace, and during that time, Arjuna was in the form of a sage. Without knowing that she is serving Arjuna, Subhadra took care of Arjuna, in a pleasing manner. But after some time, Lord Krishna revealed about the details of Arjuna, to his sister Subhadra, and at that time, she could not believe all of what had happened, since during that time, she was also very deeply and madly in love with the Pandava prince Arjuna.
As per the plan of Lord Krishna, during the time of a festival held by the Yadavas, Arjuna took Subhadra along with him, and began to ride the chariot faster to the Indraprastha kingdom. After knowing about the act of Arjuna, when the angry Yadavas decided to wage a war with Arjuna, Lord Krishna intervened between them,and asked them not to disturb Arjuna and Subhadra.
In front of the large gathering, Arjuna tied the sacred Mangalasutra on the neck of Ma Subhadra and both of them were blessed by Lord Krishna, Lord Balarama and by the sages who were present in the marriage ceremony. The divine devas in the heaven were assembled in the skies and they began to pour lot of fragrant flowers on the newly wedded couple.
Lovers who are in deep love, and who are willing to marry together, are suggested to read the details about the pure love between Arjuna and Subhadra and about their marriage ceremony. Though their marriage ceremony took place before 5000 and odd years ago, yet, still, people used to interestingly read about the divine love matter, and the marriage details of Arjuna and Ma Subhadra.
