Devotees desirous to perform different Arjitha Sevas in the temple are requested to book in advance at the Temple Front office counter only. Routine Abhishekams and Alankarams are performed to all Deities every day. The schedule of Homams and Abhishekams generally performed in the temple through Arjitha Seva is furnished hereunder.
Please note that the schedule is subject to changes due to festivals and other unavoidable circumstances. The charges are all inclusive. Advance bookings for Arjitha Sevas are also accepted by post / mail at least five days in advance, Devotees who wish to avail this facility are requested to send their contribution by way of cheque as mentioned hereunder, directly to the temple office, along with their particulars viz., Name, Gothram, Nakshtram, address with their contact number and the date on which the Arjitha Seva is requested, clearly specifying the Deity for whom the pooja is to be performed.
Devotees are requested to confirm and ascertain over telephone the availability of the Pooja through Arjitha Seva sought to be performed on a specific date, before sending the cheque / online remittance. Please note that Arjitha Seva booking for Sri Chandi Homam is accepted only in person at temple office. Booking through mail/online are not accepted for Sri Chandi Homam only.
The time of commencement of various Arjitha Sevas are furnished hereunder:
Homam – 7:30 A.M.
Homam – on Sankatahara Chaturthi to Sri Sundara Vinayagar – 5:30 P.M.
Mahanyasam – 7:30 A.M.
Abhishekam – Morning – 8.30 AM; Evening – 5:30 P.M.
Abhishekam – on Pradhosham to Sri Ekambareswarar 4:30 P.M.
Kavadi / Palkudam offerings – on selected festival days only 8:30 A.M.
Chandi Homam – Parayanam – on the previous day – 5 PM; Homam – 8:30 A.M.
Nakshatra Archana – 6:00 P.M.
The timings are subject to change on the days of solar / lunar eclipses and also due to certain unavoidable circumstances. Devotees performing Arjitha sevas are requested to collect prasadams within 4 hours of the Pooja time mentioned above.
