Theppotsavam (Boat Festival) at Annavaram Satyanarayanaswamy Temple is one of the most celebrated events in Karthika Masam in Andhra Pradesh. Teppotsavam is celebrated on Karthika Shuddha Dwadashi (Ksheerabdhi Dwadashi) at Pampa River.

Annavaram Satyanarayanaswamy Temple is one of the famous Temples in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.

Though every day is a festival day at the Ratnagiri shrine, there are certain special celebrations which are dear to the devotees and Teppotsavam is of such events.

Annavaram Rama Satyanarayanaswamy Temple’s committee does finest arrangements for this celestial event. The committee would do trial run of Hamsa Vahanam in the morning on Dwadashi on which the divine couple will go for a joy ride in the evening.

The celebrations begin with Satyajyoti Uregimpu (Procession of Satyajyoti) from Subbarayapuram Ganapathi Temple till the hill shrine. In the evening, the Utsavamurthi of Rama Sahitha Satyanarayana are taken out in a procession to Pampa Reservoir through steps way and given asanas to rest.

From 5.30 to 6.45 in the evening, Tulasi Dhatri Puja is held. At 7’0 clock in the evening, Theppotsavam begins. The three trips of Hamsavahana Theppotsavam ends at 8.15 in the night.
