Salutations to you who is Angalini, Mangalini, Kalini, Kapalini, Shivalini, Dhathrini, we offer you our humble prayers.
Oh mother, blow your grace, Oh sweet nectar of the mind of devotees,
Oh, golden gem, accumulate wealth, Oh, the holy Ganges.
Oh, lady who removes darkness, Oh Lady, who is our mother Kali.
Oh, Goddess who grants us good life, oh mother of even those in heaven,
Oh, Angalamma I put a seat in my mind and there you must have to stand forever,
Oh, goddess who left golden Himalayas and came with pretty look,
Oh, the great mother Kali, please protect me throughout my life,
Oh, mother Kali who is always with us with a smiling face, is formed in this universe to chase away our problems,
Oh, Bhagawathi who appears with eighteen ‘GOLDEN’ hands, OM Bhagawathi, and she is the one, who chants “Shivaya nama” several days to protect her husband,
Oh, Sankari who dance, dance, and dances like anything, Oh mother of Shanmukha.
Oh, Goddess who has come to this great earth as one with magical incarnation.
Since you have come to my place, I offer you charming and scented flowers under your feet,
I will also offer you sandal paste and many more beautiful things at your lotus feet.
Hey my Dear Pretty one, Oh, attractive one, I would search you and daily chant, Oh Nagini, Kailasini, OM Narayani.
She is the one who is extremely angry at those who attacks her devotees.
She who with a smile, wears snake as ornament and stands in the middle of sky by watching her devotees with her pretty eyes,
She rotates her eyes on all four directions, and sees the world,
She who has given four Vedas for us to salute and praise her.
Oh, Goddess of good words, you would remove our worries and give good results,
She who stands as Durga and gets happy with playing of drum,
Oh, Daughter of mountain, Oh Goddess who drives away our fear.
You would increase our treasure and gives long life,
You would give great victory, the good ‘KUMKUM’ which never goes,
If every morning this Angalamman Kavacham is chanted,
There is no fear for time, she would stand as guard and acts as a ‘PROTECTIVE SWORD’.
If on Tuesday, the unmarried girls and boys, holding a lamp,
Sing about this goddess, their marriage would be settled,
Salute the feet of the Goddess, good thing will come, good will come.
On the day of Pournami, if we keep on offering,
Oh sarada, Oh God Sambhavi who wears the ash
Oh, Goddess, who comes like a queen in the decorated horse.
Oh, Goddess whom we see, who gives treasure for charity,
Oh, old woman on horse attract, Attract the entire earth,
