Adiyogi Shiva

Lord Shiva is considered to the first and foremost Sage and Siddha Purusha, and hence he is called as Sri Adi Yogi Shiva. Only after hearing the fine teachings of Lord Shiva, several Sages, Saints and Siddhas were attained spiritual enlightenment. It is believed that still Lord Shiva does meditation in the holy Mountain Kailash, and it is also believed, that the entire universe would be able to function smoothly, only if Lord Shiva performs meditation continuously. In the Shiva Purana it was mentioned, that Lord Shiva is the true Brahman, and only through his influence, Lord Brahma is able to discharge his creation work in an efficient manner, and he was also able to create the divine worlds only through the blessings of Lord Shiva.

Lord Shiva first taught the holy subjects to his Divine attendant Lord Nandikeswarar, and from him, it was learned by several Rishis and Siddhars. There is a tallest Adi Yogi statue for Lord Shiva, and it was installed by the great spiritual personality Sri Sadhguru JaggiVasudev, and this wonderful statue is situated at Coimbatore.

Due to its big size and spiritual significance, this statue was entered in the Guinness World Records. This statue was established in order to inspire the devotees of Lord Shiva to practice yoga and meditation. This marvellous Adiyogi statue is situated in the Isha Yoga Center, and apart from the huge statue, a Shiva lingam called as Yogeshwar Lingam was installed and kept in front of the statue. This statue symbolizes the holiness of Lord Shiva. This Adiyogi statue was installed on the year 2017 during the auspicious MahaShivaratri festival day.

Since the holy religions, like Christianity and Islam are practiced in several countries, and since Hinduism is followed only in India, it is our main duty to spread the bhakti cult of our Hinduism, and to spread the essentials of our holy Sanatana Dharma across the globe.
