Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh is one of the most popular Ganesh Mandals in Mumbai. For 2012, Ganesh Utsav at Lalbaug Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal will begin on September 19 and will end on 29 September with Ganesh Visarjan (Anant Chaturdasi).
Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh Mandal has applied for 14 crore rupees of insurance cover for their Mandal in 2012.
It is to note that Lalbaug Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal is one of the oldest and popular Ganesh Mandals in Mumbai. It was started in 1934 and in 2012, it is celebrating their 78th Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
