Adhyayanotsavalu and Pagalpatthu Utsavalu are celebrated in grand manner in Bhadrachalam Sri Ramachandra swamy Temple during Dhanurmasam. In 2012-2013, Adhyayanotsavalu begins on December 14 and ends on 3 January 2013.
Mukkoti Theppotsavam marks the end of Adhyayanotsavalu. Mukkoti Ekadasi and Mukkoti Dwadasi are celebrated with utmost fervor in the temple. Several lakhs of devotees are expected to visit the Sitarama Temple of Bhadrachalam during the festival.
On Mukkoti Ekadasi (5 January 2012), Uttara Dwara Darshanam (Vaikunta Dwara Darsanam) will be allowed for devotees. This is the only day where devotees can visit the idol of Lord Sri Rama and his garbagruha through the Uttara Dwaram (North Entrance).
During Adhyayanotsavalu the idol of Sri Rama is adored in Dashavatara forms, beginning from Matsya Avatara the utsavalu ends with Sri Krishna avatharam.
