Surya Grahan of 21 August 2017 falls on Somavati Amavasya (Shravan Amavasya / Bhadrapada Amavasya). It is Purna Surya Grahan (Total Solar Eclipse). This Surya Grahan will not be visible in India and other Asian countries.
