Brahmacharini Mata is the second among Navadurga Goddess, nine Mother deities worshipped during Durga Navratri. Goddess Brahmacharini is worshipped on second day during Navaratri. Brahmacharini Maa Pooja 2012 date is October 17. In Vasant navratri 2012, Brahmacharini Maa is worshipped on March 24.
Appearance and Iconography of Brahmacharini:
Brahmacharini mata, the second manifestation of Navdurga (Nine Goddesses worshipped during Navratri), appears in a simple form. Brahmacharini wears a white and baby pink saree and looks very calm in nature. Mata Bramhacharini holds a Kamandal (pitcher) in her left hand and a Japamala (rosary) in her left hand.
