This is located in Daduluru, a small village in Kanaganapalli Mandal of Anantapur district. The village is just beside the NH-7.
In this temple we have Lord Chenna Kesava and Lord Polulaiah temples. Every year after the 5 days of Maha Shivaratri people from different parts of Anantapur will gather here to worship both the gods.

The first day they offer poojas to Lord Chenna Kesava by offering Rice, Dal and Jaggery which they bring it from their homes. Also people whose home lord is Chenna Kesava will have their children’s first head tonsuring here (Even I had my first tonsuring here). The next day they offer poojas to Lord Potulaiah who is known as Non-Veg lord.

People throttle the heads of Mekapothu (He Goat). There is a person who starts Gnawing the first mekapothu (He Goat) with his mouth. When you see that you will feel really sad about that Mekapothu He Goat). I felt as if we are in Stone Age. Really its bad. There will a flood of blood in and around the temple area. Children will be terrified when they see that deadly scene. But this is coming from the ages. Even educated people are following this culture.

I request our district collector to stop this.
Even we offer pooja to Lord Chenna Kesava.
