Cholis worn during this festival by women are either long blouses extending below the waist as loose blouse or it can be fashionable short blouse that may lie above the waist or it can be short with backless tie-ups called as backless choli or bandni choli. cholis are embroidered with kudan stones, sequins, zardosi, thread work, mirror work etc. these days, designers have created cholis which are amalgamation of ethnic as well as traditional wears in form of cholis with short necks, sleeveless, bustiers, noodle straps and halter necks.
Odhni covers the head part of dancers. It does not need to be in matching with your outfit color and you can choose either plain dupatta or one having good embroidery.
Kamkha is a traditional Guajarati ‘rabaran’ blouse with embroidery on the front and open back.
