Laksha Bilvarchana in Kapileshwara Swamy Temple, Tirupati is one of the popular rituals held in the one and only Shiva Temple in the temple town of Tirupati.
Laksha Bilvarchana is performed in Karthika Masam on Arudra Nakshatram. In 2022, Laksha Bilvarchana date is November 12.
It is an important ritual which is performed by worshipping Lord Kapileshwara swamy with more than 1 lakh bilva leaves.
Sri Kapileswaraswami Temple is the only temple dedicated to Lord Siva in Tirupati.
It is situated about 3 km to the north of Tirupati, at the foot of the Tirumala Hills. The sacred waterfall called Kapila Teertham (also known as Alwar Teertham) is located here.
Annual Brahmotsavams and festivals like Vinayaka Chaturthi, Mahasivaratri, Skanda Shasti and Annabhishekam are performed here with great fervor and gaiety.
Sri Venugopalaswamy Temple, Sri Lakshminarayanaswamy Temple and Sri Vinayakaswamy Temple on the Second Ghat Road are sub-temples which function under the control of the Kapileswaraswamy Temple.
The religious event of Laksha Bilwarchana will take place in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati on November 12.
As a part of this, the presiding deity will be awakened with Suprabhata Seva followed by Abhishekam, Alankaram and Archana at 3am. Later follows Laksha Bilwarchana which will be observed between 6am and 12 noon. The devotees can participate in this seva on the payment of Rs.100 per ticket.
There will be Sarvadarshanam from 6am to 3pm and again from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. In the evening there will be procession of Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru and Sri Kapileswara Swamy in the streets encircling the shrine between 6pm and 8pm.

తిరుపతిలోని శ్రీ కపిలేశ్వరస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో నవంబరు 12వ తేదీన లక్ష బిల్వార్చన సేవ వైభవంగా జరుగనుంది. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆలయంలో ప్రత్యేక కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించనున్నారు.
ఇందులోభాగంగా ఉదయం 3 గంటలకు సుప్రభాతంతో స్వామివారిని మేల్కొలిపి అభిషేకం, అలంకారం, అర్చన నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఉదయం 6 నుంచి 12 గంటల వరకు లక్ష బిల్వార్చన సేవ జరుగనుంది. ఇందులో లక్ష బిల్వ పత్రాలతో స్వామివారిని అర్చిస్తారు. ఒక్కొక్క‌రు రూ.100/- టికెట్ కొనుగోలు చేసి లక్ష బిల్వార్చన సేవ‌లో పాల్గొన‌వ‌చ్చు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఉదయం 6 నుంచి మధ్యాహ్నం 3 గంటల వరకు, సాయంత్రం 5.30 నుంచి రాత్రి 8.30 గంటల వరకు భక్తులకు సర్వదర్శనం ఉంటుంది. అదేవిధంగా సాయంత్రం 6 నుంచి రాత్రి 8 గంటల వరకు శ్రీకపిలేశ్వరస్వామి, శ్రీకామాక్షి అమ్మవారి ఉత్సవమూర్తులను పురవీధుల్లో ఘనంగా ఊరేగించనున్నారు.
