Making of Khairatabad Ganesh 2012 from Khairatabad Ganesh Website

Khairatabad Ganesh 2012, the huge 55-feet Ganapati idol in Hyderabad, will be made by nearly 100 workers for more than 50 days.

The image theme and concept of the idol for Ganesh Chaturthi 2012 is – ‘Sarvaloka Maha Ganapthi’.

For Ganesh Chaturthi 2012, Khairatabad Ganapathi vigraham may be made as riding a chariot. Either sides of the Ganesh idol will be occupied with the scenes of Goddess Tuljabhavani presenting sword to Shivaji Maharaj and the rising of Surya Bhagavan. Ganesh Navaratri Utsavalu 2012 – 2013 at Khairatabad will be 57^th year of celebrations.
