Ganesh Jayanti is the birthday or Jayanthi of Lord Ganesha observed on Magha Shukla Paksha Chaturthi, the fourth day in the month of Magha especially in Maharashtra, some parts of Karnataka and Goa. A website called as cyberastro has published 22nd jan 2011 – magh krishna paksha chaturthi as date for Ganesha Birthday. When I checked with them, they got upset and said they have done proper checking. Can you please advise who can verify this .Thanks
