Amarnath Yatra, the most auspicious yatra or pilgrimage for Hindus, will be concluded on Rakhi Purnima or Raksha Bandhan day. Amarnath Yatra 2013 ends on August 21. Yatra to Amarnath Shivling or natural ice shivling has begun on June 28.
As per the sources, more than 10 lakh devotees visited Shri Amarnath Temple.
Baba Amarnath temple would be opened and closed as per the weather conditions. Heavy rains and snow falling may interrupt the yatra for few days.
