Dasara Sharan Navaratri is the one of the popular temple festivals in Vemulawada Rajarajeshwara Swamy Temple. In 2020, Vemulawada Dasara Sharan Navaratri begins on October 17 and ends on October 25.
Sharan Navaratri Utsavams begins on 17 October with Dhwajarohanam and Kalasha Sthapana. Lalitha Panchami, Durga Ashtami Chaddula Bathukamma, Vijayadashami Shami Puja and Aparajitha Puja are the most celebrated events of Navaratri.

Vemulawada is one of the famous pilgrim centers in Karimnagar area of Telangana. It is also called as ‘Dakshina Kashi.
