TTD has took several big decisions today in Board meeting of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, the managing committee of the most popular Hindu temple. On 18 November 2024, in board meeting, the TTD has decided to cancel Srivani Trust and political discussions and the related to politics in Tirumala. The board has also canceled the lease of Sharada Peetham. Sri Swaroopanandendraswamy is the Peethadhipathi of Vishakhapatnam Sharada Peetham.
The board has also decided to put check for the employees of other religions by offering VRS or transferring them to other departments of the governments. It also decided to ban naming guest houses with personal names in Tirumala.
Tirupati Srinivasa Setu Flyover is named as Garuda Varadhi in TTD board meeting. And the big surprise has come about the transfer of all liquid assets deposited in private banks to be transferred to public sector government banks.
All the darshanam tickets booked through tourism packages are being cancelled. And the newly coming ‘Mumtaj Hotel’ permissions are also cancelled in TTD meeting. The devotees of Tirupati will get swamivari darshanam on first Tuesday in every month.
