Trivarga Saptami is an auspicious vrata dedicated to Sun God (Surya Bhagavan). It is observed in Shukla Paksha Saptami in Plaguna Month as per Hindu calendar.
Sun God is offered special puja on this day. Devotees (performers) perform ritual bath in the early morning and should wear clean or new clothes. Surya Bhagavan is offered Ksheera Abhishekam (Abhishekam with milk).
Donating any sweet recipes or food items and clothes to the Brahmins is the main deed of Trivarga Saptami day.
