Tirumala Temple reopens after Lunar Eclipse

Following lunar eclipse on August 7, the main doors of Tirumala temple were closed on Monday evening at 4:30 pm were reopened on Tuesday by 2 am.

The temple priests performed Punyahavachanam and Suddhi before commencing pre-dawn rituals to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara.

After observing Suprabhatam, Thomala, Archana, Koluvu and Asta Dala Pada Padmaradhana, the devotees are allowed for sarva darshanam.
