In view of the lunar eclipse, the Tirumala temple will remain close for approximately 10 hours and 30 minutes on 3 March 2026, from 9 AM to 7.30 PM.
The lunar eclipse will commence at 3.20 PM and conclude at 6.47 PM on March 3. As per tradition, the temple doors will be closed six hours prior to the commencement of the eclipse.
The temple doors will reopen at 7.30 PM, followed by purification rituals and Punyahavachanam. Darshan for devotees will resume from 8:30 PM onwards.
Arjitha Sevas and VIP Break Darshans Cancelled
Due to the lunar eclipse, TTD has cancelled the following:
Ashtadala Pada Padmaradhana
Kalyanotsavam
Unjal Seva
Arjitha Brahmotsavam
Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas
In addition, the following darshans are also cancelled for the day:
VIP Break Darshan including Protocol
Srivani Darshan
Rs.300 Special Entry Darshan
Darshan for parents with infants
Senior citizens and differently-abled
Donor darshan
NRI darshan

మార్చి 3న చంద్ర గ్రహణం కారణంగా శ్రీవారి ఆలయం మూత
తిరుమల, 2026 జనవరి 29: చంద్రగ్రహణం కారణంగా మార్చి 3వ తేదీ ఉదయం 9 నుండి సాయంత్రం 7.30 గంటల వరకు తిరుమల శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి ఆలయాన్ని సుమారు 10.30 గంటల పాటు మూసివేయనున్నారు.
మార్చి 3వ తేదీ సాయంత్రం 3.20 గంటలకు చంద్రగ్రహణం ప్రారంభమై 6.47 గంటలకు పూర్తవుతుంది. సాధారణంగా గ్రహణ సమయానికి 6 గంటల ముందుగా ఆలయం తలుపులు మూసివేయడం ఆనవాయితీ.
సాయంత్రం 7.30 గంటలకు ఆలయ తలుపులు తెరిచి శుద్ధి, పుణ్యహవచనం నిర్వహిస్తారు. అనంతరం శ్రీవారి దర్శనం భక్తులకు 8:30గం నుండి పునః ప్రారంభవుతుంది.
ఆర్జితసేవలు, వీఐపీ బ్రేక్ దర్శనాలు రద్దు
చంద్రగ్రహణం కారణంగా మార్చి 3వ తేదీ మంగళవారం అష్టదళ పాద పద్మారాధన సేవను, కళ్యాణోత్సవం, ఊంజల్సేవ, ఆర్జిత బ్రహ్మోత్సవం, సహస్రదీపాలంకార సేవలను టీటీడీ రద్దు చేసింది.
వీటితో పాటు ఆరోజున వీఐపీ బ్రేక్ దర్శనాలు, శ్రీవాణి దర్శనాలు, రూ.300 ప్రత్యేక ప్రవేశ దర్శనం, చంటి పిల్లల తల్లిదండ్రులు, వృద్ధులు, దివ్యాంగులు, దాతలు, ఎన్ఆర్ఐ దర్శనాలను కూడా రద్దు చేయడం జరిగింది.
శ్రీవారి భక్తులు ఈ విషయాలను గమనించి తమ తిరుమల యాత్ర ప్రణాళికను రూపొందించుకోవాల్సిందిగా కోరడమైనది.
