The Chinmaya Mission will host a day-long religious event Srichakra Pooja on Sunday. The special religious event will start at the day break and will be on till 9 pm when the hymns will be chanted and special poojas performed. The event is aimed to promote world peace. Chinamaya Mission’s Karnataka unit chief Swami Brahmananda Saraswathi will be present. The event is divided into three parts based on the movement of the sun.
The Srichakra Pooja will start with Saraswathi pooja when Lalitha Sahasranama will be rendered. At noon, Lakshmi Pooja will be held and the event will culminate with Durga Puja when Rudrabhisheka will be performed, Swami Vrushaba Chaitanya stated on Thursday.
