For each Monday a cereal is decided.

On first Monday in Shrawan ‘Shivamuth’ should be of rice.

On second Monday it is of sesame.

On third Monday green moong, fourth Monday it should be of jawas and the fifth Monday it will be Satu.

Ladies hold these cereals in closed hand forming a ‘muth’ (fist) and submit ‘abhishek’ of it on Shivling.
