Sharada Navaratri & Vasantha Navarathri are the two biggest Mahotsavams at Kanchipuram Kamakshi Ammal Temple. Sharada Navaratri 2025 begins on September 22 and ends on October 2.
The celebrations will be performed in Sri Maha Tripurasundari Sametha Sri Chandramouleeshwara Swami temple at Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, Sankara Matam, Kanchipuram.
Navaratri Mahotsava occupies a special place in Saivam, Shaktam and Vaishnavam. Worshipping the Divine Mother in Her three magnificent forms… Mahalakshmi, Mahakali and Mahasaraswathi is the main significance of Sarada Navaratri.
During Navaratri, Special abhishekam, alankaram, navavarana pujai, Suvasini puja and kanya puja will take place everyday.
Their Holinesses Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamiji will perform Sharada Navaratri Mahotsava for Sri Mahatripurasundari Sametha Sri Chandramouleeswara Swami at Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, Kanchipuram from 3 October to 14 October.
Special pujas, japas, parayanam, homam etc. will be performed during this period for Lokakshema . Devotees are invited to participate in the pujas and receive the bountiful blessings of Sri Mahatripurasundari Sametha Sri Chandramouleeswara Swami and Pujyasri Acharya Swamijis.
