2 Chinna Sesha Vahana Seva in Tirupati Brahmotsavam
On the Second day of Brahmotsavam, in the morning Chinna Sesha Vahanam and in the evening Hamsa Vahana sevas are celebrated. In 2022, Second day of Navaratri Brahmotsavams date is September 28 (Salakatla Brahmotsavam).
Second day starts with chinna seshavahanam. It is also a sesha vahan except for it is silver throne today while it was golden previous day. A wonderful golden crown can be seen on Lord’s head.
The vahanam of the evening of second day is ‘Hamsa Vahana’, swan vehicle. Lord goes through four mada streets decorated as Goddess Saraswati.
We can see veena on left hand with right hand fingers playing the strings. An important feature is decoration of navarathana mangalyam with a thick gold tubular necklace around Lord’s neck.
