Sathya Saibaba Jayanti is celebrated with utmost fervor and devotion in Puttaparthi, Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. Sathyasai’s birth anniversary in 2025 (November 23) is the Fourteenth Jayanti after his Maha Samadhi.
Born on 23 November 1926, Sathyasai claimed himself and believed as the reincarnation of Shirdi Saibaba. Sathyasai passed away and reached the heavenly abode on April 24, 2011.
Sathyasai Jayanti utsavams begins with Venugopala Swamy Rathotsavam in Puttaparthi. The celebrations last for seven days hence also known as ‘Jayanti Varotsavams’.
